The Shawnee Evergreen Community Association (SECA) has received verbal confirmation from a representative of Shaw-Nee Slopes Golf Course that the developer’s due diligence process, anticipated to be concluded December 15th, did not conclude with the sale of the golf course. We understand that this offer to purchase the golf course has fallen through.

This is encouraging news for the community, but our work is not over yet. Our concern regarding redevelopment of the golf course will continue in the future. We will keep you informed, and may ask for your input regarding next steps soon.
